Retinal
cameras are a useful tool for diagnosing and monitoring
certain eye conditions. Retinal Imaging is performed
on every patient and takes only a few moments, this
is part of the routine eye examination. At every
visit a retinal image photograph is taken and stored,
this builds up record for each individual patient,
very useful for monitoring the progression of certain
eye conditions. If patient is referred for specialist
opinion, the image can easily be reproduced to accompany
the referral letter pinpointing the anomaly found.
